Main Theme: Anesthesia and Resuscitation in Africa facing the challenges of the future: Innovation, Sustainability, and Equity
Sub-Theme: Universal health coverage in Francophone Africa: Challenges and perspectives
At the Heart of Our Regional Issues
The congress's main theme directly resonates with STAARMUC's objectives and the realities in Togo and West Africa:
Innovation and Sustainability: How to integrate best practices and technologies (such as medical simulation promoted by STAARMUC) while ensuring their long-term viability in resource-limited settings.
Equity and Universal Health Coverage (UHC): The sub-theme addresses the crucial issue of UHC. It will be an opportunity to analyze how Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and Emergency Medicine can play a central role in ensuring that all citizens have access to quality critical care, without geographic or financial distinction.
